Description
The Dakota Poker Tour returns to Grand Forks for the MONSTER STACK at the Canad Inn! After a long break, we're excited to come back to this venue and resume the tradition of the MONSTER STACK event.
This is a 2-day MEGA STACK tournament with a nice structure. Up to 90k starting chips, 40 min levels, and registration does not close until Sunday 1pm for those who can't make it until Sunday.
Also - this event has a Friday night super satellite for those looking to score a cheap seat. AND - you can win a FREE satellite seat at participating FPN poker league locations in Grand Forks area.
Note, there will be a full production LIVE STREAM of this event.
With borders being a bit more open, we welcome Canadians in open arms to come down and participate in this event. Reigning Dakota Poker Tour Season X Player of the Year Cody Slusher from Oakes, ND took this tournament down last time. Who will win this time around?
Rules
Registration begins 11am, Starts at Noon
Buyin $200 ($180+$20 dealer appreciation fee)
Starting Stack 60,000 chips
Add on available for $100 for 30,000 chips (the add-on can be taken anytime up until the cutoff at 1pm Sunday)
30 minute levels on Saturday
40 minute levels on Sunday
Big Blind Ante
*Late entries will receive a full stack.
*Ante is posted by the player in the Big Blind only.
*If a player does not have enough chips to cover both the BB and Ante the Big Blind is posted first, then any remaining chips to the ante
*When play reaches 4-handed Ante will become equal to SB. When play reaches heads up, ante will be removed.
*Final 3 tables will be seated 9 handed. A re-draw will be done at 27 players.
*Final table will re-draw for seats and sit 9 handed.
*Blind structure Subject to change at the Tournament Directors discretion.
*Blinds are subject to reaching a blind cap.
*DPT follows TDA rulings
*15% of prize pool withheld/donated to charity
